具体要求：

论文研究工作应注重培养硕士生文献查阅与综合能力、理论分析与设计实践能力、归纳总结能力、目标凝练能力等，并应特别注重培养和提高独立工作能力和开拓创新的能力。
1.学位论文题目应在导师指导下于第二学期末或第三学期初确定，并由硕士生在作选题及预研报告，广泛听取意见。论文选题应着重选择对国民经济和社会发展具有实用价值或理论意义的课题，应具有先进性。

《美术创作》为专业实践课程，要求学生参与导师的科研项目或与导师共同商讨确定创作实践的选题，并取得一定工作量的实践成果（创作作品）。
(二)综合实践(3学分)
在学期间，必须保证不少于1年的实践教学，可采取集中实践与分段实践相结合的方式。
综合实践：3学分，依托各专业领域的校外实践基地完成，在校内外导师的共同指导下，结合工程实际岗位，主要进行专业综合实践和应用能力训练。
(三)选题报告及中期考核(1学分)
专业硕士学位硕士研究生开题前需修满学位课程的学分，允许研究生开题后根据论文研究需要选修部分其他课程，申请答辩前修完全部课程即可。
以上三个实践环节是全日制艺术硕士研究生培养过程的必修环节，研究生要提交实践计划，撰写实践总结报告和选题报告书。对研究生实践环节实行全过程管理和质量评价，确保实践教学质量。

1.在开题前，需完成专业创作作品不少于5件（含习作、设计、创作），成绩以百分制计分。

4.学位论文核心部分（本论、结论）字数不少于不少于5000字（其中书法和艺术管理专业论文字数不少于1.5万字；跨媒体与摄影专业论文字数不少于1.5万），结合毕业创作进行毕业论文答辩。
5.艺术硕士专业学位强调艺术创作/艺术设计实践能力的培养和提高。艺术创作/艺术设计是专业能力的展示，作品须具备较高的专业水平，毕业前需举办毕业作品展览。毕业创作/设计作品工作量如下：
动画：自编、自导并独立完成一部动画作品，不少于3分钟；如毕业创作为合作完成，工作量应相应增加。
漫画、插画：需提供毕业创作10幅，根据画面难易程度，工作量在导师指导下酌情调整；
书法：需提供书法与篆刻原创作品15幅；
摄影：需提供作品15件；
艺术管理：等需提供原创策划方案1至3件。
6.学生开题六个月后进行学位论文的中期检查；答辩前1个月，须将本人学位论文与有关作品上交院研究生办核查。

(一)专业实践(设计实践)16学分，各方向学分组成：
工业设计、视觉传达设计、信息与交互设计：参与导师设计项目6学分、参加设计竞赛5学分、协助导师教辅教研5学分。
环境艺术设计：参与导师设计项目8学分、参与专业竞赛4学分、协助导师教辅教研4学分。
(二)综合实践：
综合实践3学分，依托各专业领域的校外实践基地完成，在校内外导师的共同指导下，结合工程实际岗位，主要进行专业综合实践和应用能力训练。
(三)选题报告及中期考核
以上3个实践环节是全日制艺术硕士研究生培养过程的必修环节，研究生要提交实践计划，撰写实践总结报告和选题报告书。对研究生实践环节实行全过程管理和质量评价，确保实践教学质量。

Practiceismorethan3full-timecompulsorypartofthetrainingprocessofartgraduate,graduateplanstosubmitpractice,practicewritingsummaryreportsandtopicsofthereport.Thewholeprocessmanagementandqualityassessmentofgraduatepracticesession,ensuringthequalityofteachingpractice.
论文研究工作应注重培养硕士生文献查阅与综合能力、目标凝练能力、理论分析与艺术创作能力、归纳总结能力等，并应特别注重培养和提高独立工作能力和开拓创新的能力。
1.学位论文题目应在导师指导下于第三学期末或第四学期初确定，并由硕士生做选题及预研报告，广泛听取意见。论文选题应着重选择能够为社会主义现代化建设服务、为促进艺术文化事业的发展作出贡献的课题。
2.学位论文核心部分（本论、结论）字数不少于不少于5000字，（其中艺术管理专业论文字数不少于2.0万；跨媒体专业论文字数不少于1.5万），结合毕业创作进行毕业论文答辩。开题后12个月，才可进行答辩；在学位论文答辩前，必须举办毕业设计作品展。
3.艺术硕士专业学位强调艺术创作/艺术设计实践能力的培养和提高。艺术创作/艺术设计是专业能力的展示，作品须具备较高的专业水平，毕业前需举办毕业作品展览，毕业创作/设计作品工作量如下：
工业设计：需提供原创设计作品10幅及以上；环境设计：需提供原创设计作品10幅及以上；视觉传达设计：需提供原创设计作品10幅及以上；信息与交互设计：需提供原创设计作品10幅及以上；艺术管理：需提供原创策划方案1至3件。
4.学生开题六个月后进行学位论文的中期检查；答辩前1个月，须将本人学位论文与有关作品上交院研究生办核查。
6.鼓励学生创作优秀的作品参与有届次的高级别展览参展或获奖。研究生学位论文的工作成果获得省部级三等及以上科研成果奖1项（国家级奖前5名、省部级一等奖前3名、省部级二等奖前2名、省部级三等奖第1名，署名武汉理工大学），可视为在被EI收录的国际学术期刊上发表1篇学术论文并被收录；凡被《新华文摘》全文转载的学术期刊论文（3000字以上），均视为A类期刊学术论文；凡被A&HCI、CPCI收录的学术期刊论文，或被中国人民大学报刊复印资料全文转载的学术期刊论文（3000字以上），均视为B类期刊学术论文。
