历史沿革
教育部学位中心成立于2003年，其前身是成立于1999年的全国学位与研究生教育发展中心。
工作职能
开展学位与研究生教育的科研工作，为教育部、国务院学位委员会、国务院教育督导委员会有关政策的制定提供参考。
承担教育部、国务院学位委员会、国务院教育督导委员会委托开展的学位与研究生教育的评估、评审监测工作，并根据需要面向社会自主开展与学位与研究生教育有关的评估、评审服务工作。
承担以研究生毕业同等学力人员申请硕士（博士）学位全国统考的命题和考务工作。
承担学位证书的认证评价、鉴定和咨询工作。
负责全国学位与研究生教育信息系统的建设、维护并面向社会提供服务。
开展学位与研究生教育的民间国际交流与合作。
主办《中国研究生》杂志。

Asanindependentlegalentity,ChinaAcademicDegreesandGraduateEducationDevelopmentCenter(CDGDC)isanadministrativedepartmentdirectlyundertheMinistryofEducation(MoE),operatingunderthejointleadershipoftheMinistryofEducation,theAcademicDegreesCommitteeoftheStateCouncil(ADCSC),andtheEducationInspectionCommitteeoftheStateCouncil.
OurHistory
CDGDCwasestablishedin2003,evolvingfromNationalAcademicDegreesandGraduateEducationDevelopmentCenterfoundedin1999.
Functions
Toengageinscientificresearchonacademicdegreesandgraduateeducation,andprovidepolicy-makingcounselingfortheMinistryofEducation,theAcademicDegreesCommitteeoftheStateCouncil,andtheEducationInspectionCommitteeoftheStateCouncil.
Toconducttasksofassessing,evaluatingandmoniteringacademicdegreesandgraduateeducation,entrustedbytheMinistryofEducation,theAcademicDegreesCommitteeoftheStateCouncil,andtheEducationInspectionCommitteeoftheStateCouncil.Andwhennecessary,CDGDChastheauthoritytoindependentlyconductsimilartasksentrustedbyanysocialestablishments.
Toundertakethetasksoftest-papersettingandtestadministrationforthethenationaltestsfortheequivalentlyqualifiedmaster（ordoctoral）degreeapplicants.
ToengageintheresearchondegreeequivalencybetweenChinaandothercountries,betweenChinesemainlandandHongKongSAR,MacaoSARaswellasTaiwan;toprovidecounselingserviceofqualificationrecognition.Authorizedbythegovernment,CDGDCcansigncooperationagreementsconcerningdegreerecognitionandgraduateeducationevaluationwithnon-governmentalorganizationsandinstitutions.
Toprovideverificationandrecognitionservicesofdegreecertificatesandotherstudydocuments,andrelatedconsultingservice.
