前言
公益性文化机构尤其是图书馆,在引导全民阅读、建立学习型社会方面具有不可替代的作用。我国各级各类图书馆都不同程度地开展了电子书服务。然而,随着技术和社会的快速发展,电子书服务的不均衡现象日益突出,主要表现在以下四个方面。
第二,电子书揭示力度不够。大部分图书馆电子书隐藏在电子资源导航中,并且以独立库的形式存在,不方便用户查找。对电子书的整合力度不够,例如资源关联关系、知识图谱、大数据分析等的利用欠缺,在用户个性化、知识化、智能化需求日益强烈的今天,这种揭示力度远远不能满足用户的需求,同时导致电子书的利用率不高。
本书内容主要分为以下八个部分:
第一章,电子书概述。对电子书的发展历程、概念与特征、格式与分类、标准和评估等进行了全面的调研,界定了本书研究的电子书的范畴。
第三章,国内外电子书发展现状。调研对比了中国、美国、韩国、日本、欧盟五个国家和地区的电子书发展情况,总结我国电子书发展存在的问题。
第四章,国内公共图书馆电子书服务典型案例。本章通过文献计量分析法,大体掌握国内图书馆电子书服务现状。选取图书馆电子书服务的典型案例,分析其服务特点、平台架构和存在的问题,为后续服务模式和平台搭建提供借鉴。
第八章,总结和展望。本章对图书馆电子书服务进行预测性研究,为图书馆电子书服务可持续发展及发挥图书馆在公共文化服务体系建设中的作用提出建议。
