一、作文选使用上的误区
就目前市场上作文选品种及质量，我做过多次实地询查并发现，面对各书店种类繁多的作文选，学生根本无法甄辨出适合自己的最佳刊物，甚至连有些语文老师也会对茫茫如大海般的作文选迷失方向。例如在作文选的使用环节上就值得商榷：
1.误用作文选
《语文课程标准》关于习作教学给出了建议：“写作是运用语言文字进行表达和交流的重要方式，是认识世界、认识自我、进行创造性表述的过程。”
我概括了标准中关于写作的两个重点词：语言文字，创造性表述。但平时的习作教学并非如此。我们应该更加慎重地选择与使用作文选，更不能让习作教学缺失了小学语文学科的人文性效用，重工具而轻人文的语文习作课堂势必培养不出有思想、敢于担当的新一代新生力量。

针对这种情况，我跟我的学生经过多年实践，总结了一些可供操作的个人经验，以飨广大教师借鉴批评：
在作文选的选择上，首先，我们应注重内容的时尚性，与时俱进的阅读源可以激发学生的学习欲望，萌生一睹为快的热情。在当下，学生是站在时代变革的肩膀上，给予他们学习的方法之余，我们教师的思想、举止、言行也应与时俱进。
其次，应注重内容的有效性。传统的作文素材如以词、句、段按题材进行分类编排显得枯燥乏味，长篇累牍会消磨学生的积极性。而一本有效的作文选可以弥补诸多不足（如《中小学生实用素材大全》系列），它按流行、经典、哲理、自然、环境、人文等分类，包含创新观点、理论依据和最新材料。学生对新鲜知识的渴望尤为强烈，容易接纳并且易于在实践中灵活运用，文风给人眼前一亮的感觉。
