中国有很多了不起的人，从古到今，都很爱国，真让人佩服。在众多了不起的中国人中，我认为袁隆平最了不起。

1960年罕见的天灾人祸，带来了严重的粮食饥荒，一个个百姓都面瘦饥黄袁隆平也亲身经历了饥饿的痛苦。他见证了严酷的现实，想起了旧社会，想起了平民百姓的困苦，所以他要用自己的智慧培育出水稻的新品种。

我们看了《袁隆平》这部电影。这部电影记述了袁隆平先生种植杂交水稻并成功的一些事，我看了这部电影，觉得非常的感慨，感动我的是袁隆平先生不服输的精神。本电影以一个外国人和袁隆平先生的对话，来记述以前在袁隆平先生身上的一些事情。袁隆平先生非常坚强，一次次的困难在他面前他都不畏惧，不退缩，他在种植杂交水稻的时候有许许多多的困难，但他始终铭记着自己的信念：我毕生的追求就是让所有人远离饥饿。
袁隆平先生不是只坐在实验室里，而是到田里去研究。据央视报道，农业部验收组刚刚公布，由袁隆平先生指导的“y两优2号”百亩超级杂交水稻试验田平均亩产926.6公斤，破了我国大面积水稻亩产的最高纪录。
