VOA
VOA，全称是TheVoiceofAmerica。注意，这不是《美国好声音》，它的正确中文名是《美国之音》，是一家提供45种语言服务的动态的国际多媒体广播电台。自成立以来，美国之音就一直致力于为全球各地的听众提供最优质的广播节目。
1）推荐理由：
VOA是美国政府的喉舌，播音员发音规范，字正腔圆，值得喜欢美音的听友模仿。内容主要为世界新闻，广播对象主是为要发展中国家的听众。难度相对较易，基础词汇量约在8000左右。VOA的好处是它并不教你做题，而是能从根本上强化你的英语能力，帮你摆脱应试英语，哑巴英语的囧境。对于了解英美文化、积累写作素材也是大有好处，坚持1个月就会明显感觉耳洞脑洞大开！

是VOA专为全世界非英语国家初学英语的听众安排的一种简易、规范的英语广播节目。30多年来，VOA为了办好SpecialEnglish节目，进行了大量的调查研究工作，对播音速度、内容及用词范围都作了具体规定，基本上达到了既能为英语学习者提供信息，又不损害英语本身风格的目的，使之成为VOA独具特色，拥有最大量听众的节目。

2）常速英语StandardEnglish
又称作“VOA标准英语”，StandardEnglish是美国人日常使用规范英语，及美国普通话(GeneralAmerican)，使用“标准英语”这一词是为了区别于“特别英语”。标准英语的播音速度每分钟不低于140个单词，词汇量在4000以上，句子较长，结构复杂，内容详实。因此收听起来比特别英语要难得多。VOA常速英语新闻主要对在美国和国际上所发生的重大新闻事件进行报道报道，新闻的时效性很强。

However,saidAmbassadorMalac,moreresourcesandcommitmentsfromboththeGovernmentofUgandaandtheinternationalcommunityareneeded.“Ugandanauthoritieshavedemonstratedleadershipintheirtreatmentofrefugees,butgiventheoverwhelmingnumbers,theymustbegintodomoretoprotectthispopulation.Inparticular,the[Ugandan]Governmentneedstoprovidemoresecuritypersonnelinsettlementareas,wheretherearegrowingreportsofviolence,especiallyagainstwomen,”shesaid.
“Finally,”sheemphasized,“therecanbenobeginningtoaresolutionofUganda'srefugeecrisiswithoutalastinganddurablepoliticalsolutiontotheconflictinSouthSudan.[Neighboringcountries]andtheinternationalcommunitycannotbeexpectedtobearthisburdenindefinitelybecauseoftheunwillingnessofthepartiesinSouthSudantoendtheviolence.”
