郑州，河南省省会，华夏文明和中原文化重要发祥地之一，中国中部地区重要的中心城市、国家重要的综合交通枢纽、中原经济区核心城市，地处华北平原南部、黄河下游，居河南省中部偏北，东接开封，西依洛阳，南与许昌、平顶山接壤，北隔黄河与新乡、焦作相望。郑州是国家历史文化名城，中华人文始祖轩辕黄帝的故里，历史上曾五次为都、八代为州，是“中国八大古都”之一和世界历史都市联盟成员，有世界文化遗产2项15处，全国重点文物保护单位38处43项，拥有黄帝故里、商城遗址、天地之中等众多历史人文景观。2016年12月20日，国家发展和改革委员会发布《促进中部地区崛起“十三五”规划》，支持郑州建设成为国家中心城市。在“十三五”期间，突出中原地域文化特色，打造一流中原文化，成为郑州城市文化发展的主要目标之一，也为雕塑艺术的创作提供了更为有利的支持与助力。
郑州市政府与中国雕塑学会合作，以举办“人与自然”——中国郑州国际雕塑展为基础平台，计划通过两届展览，初步引入雕塑作品100件左右，升华郑州市雕塑公园文化内涵，提升郑州整体区域艺术氛围，再现中原文化的当代价值。2017“人与自然”——中国郑州国际雕塑展计划落成雕塑50件，依山为媒，傍水为介，以雕塑的介入与展示，让郑州市雕塑公园成为一座露天的绿色生态美术馆，真正让艺术辐射进人们的生活，参与城市的建设发展，推动城市文化软实力的打造。
2、大展主题
雕塑展主题：人与自然。
本次雕塑展以“人与自然”为切入点，让雕塑回归自然，从自然中获得灵感，在中原地域文脉的统照下，在人与自然的主题下，用雕塑艺术的独特语言，关切人与自然，探讨雕塑在人与自然关系上更多的可能性。
党的十八大报告明确提出：“必须树立尊重自然、顺应自然、保护自然的生态文明理念。”立足于时代和当代生态美学的号召，雕塑艺术如何介入生态空间去探寻人与自然的生存空间，如何用艺术的语言表述共生共融的思考，如何营造人与自然的影像互动与对话，如何有效连接城市人文空间和环境空间，是“人与自然”主题下，艺术的生态化探索。
每个城市由于地理位置和历史背景的不同，形成了自己独特的地域文化。郑州，作为中原文化和中华文明的发源地之一，肩负着历史的厚重感。中原地区以特殊的地理环境、历史地位和人文精神，使中原文化在漫长的中国历史中长期居于正统主流地位，中原文化一定程度上代表着中国传统文化。中原文化在整个中华文明体系中具有发端和母体的地位，对构建整个中华文明体系发挥了筚路蓝缕的开创作用，具有兼容众善、合而成体的特点和很强的辐射力和影响力，在中华文化系统中处于主体、主干的地位。中华文明以悠久灿烂的中原文化为根基，始终注重人与自然的关系，强调“天人合一”，努力探索实现人与自然的高度和谐共生，为本届雕塑展主题提供了无限的拓展、延伸和创造可能。
郑州市雕塑公园选址位于郑州市中原区与高新技术开发区相邻处，在城市的西北，占地面积约为350000平方米，郑州市西部的贾鲁河流经此区域，公园东边为西三环路，南边为西流湖公园，西边紧邻郑州高新技术开发区。园内景观设计将滨湖景观和城市绿带有机融合为一体，具有良好的坡地景观效果，是郑州城市的一块绿肺。通过“人与自然”主题展示，将雕塑公园作为雕塑艺术展示的空间，使雕塑作品的精神高度、文化内涵与艺术价值同当代中国文化相适应，同郑州地域文脉相呼应，激活雕塑艺术的生命力，与生态共舞，达到突出中原地域文化特色，融合国际化、现代化雕塑艺术元素，打造国内一流雕塑公园的目的，让郑州市雕塑公园不仅是彰显城市精神品位的一张靓丽名片，还是适合未来需要的现代城市环境和精神家园。

1、征稿范围
凡认同本次雕塑展的主题和宗旨，具有雕塑创作能力的国内外艺术家均可报名，不限国别、民族、年龄、性别。
2、参展作品形式
参展作品形式须为户外公共雕塑，设计尺寸为3-5米左右。
3、创作要求
参展作品要求必须是原创作品；作者拥有作品全部的知识产权；创作理念创新、独特；形式美观，艺术性强，能融入户外环境；具有可实施性、安全性和永久性。

The18thNationalCongressoftheCommunistPartyofChinaclearlystatedthat“Wemustestablishtheconceptofecologicalcivilizationthatrespectsnature，conformstonatureandprotectsnature。”Basedonthecallofthetimesandcontemporaryecologicalaesthetics，underthethemeof“HumanandNature”，howcansculptureinterveneinecologicalspacetoexplorethelivingspaceofhumanandnature，howtousethelanguageofsculpturalarttoexpressthethinkingofsymbiosis，howtocreateimageinteractionanddialoguebetweenhumanandnature，howtoeffectivelyconnecttheurbanhumanityspaceandenvironmentalspace，aretheecologicalexplorationofart。
