SubmissionGuidelines
Overview
BigDataMiningandAnalytics,anacademicjournalsponsoredbyTsinghuaUniversity,ispublishedquarterly.Thisjournalaimsatpresentingtheup-to-datescientificachievementswithhighcreativityandgreatsignificanceinbigdataminingandanalytics.Contributionsallovertheworldarewelcome.BigDataMiningandAnalyticsisindexedbyIEEEXplore.
Manuscriptsareselectedforpublicationaccordingtotheeditorialassessmentoftheirsuitabilityandevaluationfromindependentreviewers.Papersareusuallysenttotwoormorereviewers.Editorialstaffwilleditacceptedpaperstoimproveaccuracyandclarityandshorten,ifnecessary.
Itisaconditionofpublicationthatmanuscriptssubmittedtothisjournalhavenotbeenpublishedandwillnotbesimultaneouslysubmittedorpublishedelsewhere.
Manuscriptsubmission
Authorship
Authorshipshouldbelimitedtothosewhohavemadeasignificantcontributiontotheconception,design,execution,orinterpretationofthereportedstudy.Allthosewhohavemadesignificantcontributionsshouldbelistedasco-authors.Wherethereareotherswhohaveparticipatedincertainsubstantiveaspectsoftheresearchproject,theyshouldbenamedinanAcknowledgmentsection.Thecorrespondingauthorshouldensurethatallappropriateco-authors(accordingtotheabovedefinition)andnoinappropriateco-authorsareincludedintheauthorlistofthemanuscript,andthatallco-authorshaveseenandapprovedthefinalversionofthepaperandhaveagreedtoitssubmissionforpublication.Afteracceptance,changesofauthorshiporintheorderoftheauthorslistedwillnotbeacceptedbyTsinghuaUniversityPress.
TitleandBy-line
Thetitleshouldbedescriptive,notfullsentences.Name,affiliation(institution)oftheauthors,city,zipcode,country,andE-mailaddressoftheauthor(s)shouldbelisted.

ThetextshouldcontainanIntroductionthatputsthepaperintoperspectiveforreaders,andshouldalsocontainMethods,Results,Discussion,andConclusions.TheSIsystemshouldbeusedforunitsofmeasurethroughoutthetext.
Alldigitalarts,includingmicrographs,linearts,andgrayscaleimages,includedinthemanuscriptshouldbesuppliedinaseparateelectronicfileinTIFF,EPS,orJPEGformatwithapreferredresolutionof600dpirelativetothefinalfiguresize.AllfiguresshouldbenumberedusingArabnumeralsandsuppliedwithafigurecaption.Pleasemakesurethatallelementsfoundinthefigureareidentifiedinthecaption.Figuresshouldalwaysbecitedintext,suchasFig.1,Fig.2,inconsecutivenumericalorder.
AlltablesshouldbenumberedusingArabnumeralsandsuppliedwithatabletitlewhichexplainsclearlyandconciselythecomponentsofthetable.Tablesshouldnotduplicateresultspresentedelsewhereinthemanuscript(forexample,infigures).Tablesshouldalwaysbecitedinthetext,suchasTable1,Table2,inconsecutivenumericalorder.
Mathematicalmaterial&Acknowledgment
MathematicalmaterialThetextshouldmakecleardistinctionsbetweenphysicalvariables,mathematicalsymbols,unitsofmeasurement,abbreviations,etc.Authorsshoulduseitalicandboldfacetoidentifyphysicalormathematicalvariables.Variablesaretobesetinnormalitalic,andvectors,tensors,andmatrixesinboldface.
AcknowledgmentTheplacementoftheAcknowledgmentappearsafterthefinaltextofthepaper,justbeforetheReferencesandafteranyAppendix(es).Allfinancialsupportfortheworkshouldbelistedhere.Individuals,affiliation,orothertobeconcernedwhowereofdirecthelpintheworkshouldbeacknowledgedbyabriefstatement.
