此次四级作文仍是考的热点话题现象，此前在我们昂立的课堂上一直向四级考生强调该种类型议论文的重要性。这次的话题相对09年12月的四级作文话题要好写很多，因为相信对于很多考生而言是自己的真实案例。此类应试作文在写作时需要注意：

今年的四级短对话整体难度与往年持平，只要听到了听力核心词汇和关键语法句型就能选出答案。
首先，在8道短对话中有六道都涉及了“推测内涵类”，这与我们昂立之前预测的必考题型是相吻合的。其次，11、16和18题都运用了“but后面有考题”的听力技巧，不管之前听到的内容是什么，只要有“but”出现就有正确答案的诞生，相信在我们昂立上过课的学生对这一技巧一定不会感到陌生。再次，关于关键语法点虚拟的考查。短对话的15题句型“ifIwereyou”是非常典型的虚拟句型，指的是“如果我是你，我会……”答案就在“会”的后面；16题考查了insist这个单词，后面加从句的话是虚拟语气，是should+动词原形，其中should可以省略。
要想把听力短对话做得“快和准”，熟练掌握场景词是非常重要的。这次的四级考试中又有很多我们昂立在课上提到的关键词汇，比如11题的professor,library,bookstore，15题的biology,pass，17题的course,students，完全可以确定是校园场景；12题的grocery,supermarket,pickup都是购物场景词，特别是grocery，学生应该非常熟悉。还有13题的mess，14题的schedule，全部是课上反复强调的核心词汇，只要学生在考试之前一再复习，做听力的时候就会觉得得心应手。

这篇复合式听写讲述了自然的学习过程相对于学校正统教育来讲对孩子的成长更加重要。因此主要考察了一系列的与教育有关的描述形容词以及介词引起的动词-ing形式的变化。
听出单词的发音对大部分考生来说不是难点，难在考生是否能够把单词拼写正确。“Curious”，“formal”，“abstract”;还有就是课上讲词汇提到到前后缀，如“independent”,“unusual”等。
