今天由我来和大家探讨一下英语学习的方法。好之者不如乐之者，乐之者不如以之为乐者！学好英语在一般情况下可用如下规则描述：“动因+兴趣”——决心——持之以恒———见效。可见兴趣是学好英语最关键的问题。让自己喜欢上英语英语学习的效率才是最高的！那么怎么样才能建立起自己学习英语的兴趣呢？要想明白这个问题先要搞清楚你为什么不喜欢学习英语，根据这几年的教学经验，我总结了大概有以下几点：
第一，课堂英语枯燥乏味。在课堂上，教师比较注重生词与语法点，而对一些比较有趣的知识（比如中英文化差异）则只是一言而过，无法引起学生学习的兴趣，并且同学们开口机会少，这也是导致产生“哑巴英语”的因素之一；
第二，英语生词难以掌握，课后习题量过多。难背的英语单词让不少同学烦恼，而课后可怕的“题海”使同学们坠入一个个深渊。对英语不少同学都是敬而远之；
第三，缺乏英语学习环境与方法。好的环境会使英语教学质量大大提高，同时也能增加同学们的兴趣。打个比方：如果你身在英国，学习英语还会如此困难，如此痛苦吗？显然不会。而好的学习方法则可以避免同学走弯路，不致处处碰壁。
第四，英语无用论。一个无法忽略的现实是：中考要考英语，高考要考英语，考研也要考英语。世界上绝大多数的科学文献是用英语写成的，世界范围内不管是政治、军事还是经济最广泛使用的语言也是英语。有可能你现在学英语用不到，但是我可以负责人地说，你这辈子离不开英语，不管你在国内还是国外。
好的，既然我们知道了不喜欢甚至讨厌英语的原因，那么我们如何培养英语学习的兴趣呢？其实也很简单。
从简单的开始，我现在问一下同学们你们觉得学习英语最基本的原则是什么？有谁知道请举手……对了最基本的原则就是简单原则，举个例子，比方说有人问你：What’syourname？你回答：Mynameisjake。I’mjake。很明显I’mjake。要远远好于Mynameisjake。这就是简单原则，越简单越好！英语学习不外乎就是听、说、读、写，都应从最简单的开始，只有从简单的开始，才容易入门，才容易产生"兴趣"，才容易把事情进行下去。简单原则有巨大的优点：1、造就成就感，培养自信。2、增加兴趣。3、语言朗朗上口。4、易于学以致用。但是很学生对简单的语言往往不屑一顾，在学英语中最喜欢追求一个字——"难"。尽管学了很多难的东西，却不会用。而事实上，简单的东西如能灵活、准确地使用才是真正重要的。当然这并不是说"难的单词"和"复杂句型"一点儿也不能用，或者说没有用。学会容易的东西，并把容易的东西融会贯通地加以运用才是英语学习的关键所在。多学习一门语言，就是多了一对耳朵、一对眼睛和一张嘴。这个形容一点也不夸张。
下面我们就从听说读写四个方面来具体说一下英语的学习方法。
一、听力练习方法建议
1、根据个人英语掌握程度，选择难度适中，语速适当的听力磁带。
3、挑选自己喜欢的英语磁带练习，建议选择趣味性强，故事性强的听力材料。比如：英语童话故事，世界名著（简单版）等。
二、口语练习方法建议
1、首先要掌握基本日常用语，词汇和短语，以初中到高中学习词汇为标准，大约6000词汇，300短语。另外这些只是最基本的词汇掌握量，若要脱口而出，还需掌握最少四级词汇。
2、一般买英语磁带都配有磁带读物，比如上面说到的英语童话故事和世界名著。磁带作为听力练习，读物作为练习口语阅读练习，配合磁带来纠正自己的发音，一举两得。
3。若有机会在城市碰到老外，可以邀请他们和自己留影，只要留影就OK了，如果词汇不足，不要深谈。这样可以锻炼胆量和口语呢。我和老外是这么说的：

关于口语练习，可以结合听力练习一起进行，这里我就不重复了，另外看英语电影也可以练习口语，以电影对话一句为单位，静音练习。这样效果很好，熟练之后可以看着电影说对话呢！
三、阅读练习方法建议
1、根据自己掌握的词汇量选择难度适当的英语读物，一般市面上有小学，初中英语读物。
2、阅读英语书籍，不要一目十行，不是当成小说来看，要本着学习的态度去看，除非英语掌握十分出色，那另当别论。
