Advertisingcostofsales(ACOS)isthepercentageofdirectsalesyoumadefromsponsoredadscampaigns.ACOS,iscalculatedbydividingadvertisingspendinvestedbythetotalsalesgenerated(ACOS=AdSpend/Sales).Forexample,ifyouspend$20onasponsoredadscampaignanditgenerates$100insales,yourACOSis20%.
ACOSistheinverseofReturnonadspent(ROAS),whichiscalculatedbydividingthetotalsalesgeneratedbytheadvertisingspendinvestedonthecampaign(ROAS=Sales/AdSpend).UnlikeROAS,ACOSisrepresentedasapercentage.
ACOSincludesattributedsalesforadvertisedproducts,andattributionvariesbycampaignandadvertisertype:
